I second that notion!Opus the Poet wrote:I predict that Atsali will have zero issues with reading Digit's emotional state.![]()
Yep. She'll probably be able to read her like a book.Opus the Poet wrote:I predict that Atsali will have zero issues with reading Digit's emotional state.![]()
Nah. They'll help each other and both learn.Dave wrote:When She Who Can't Emote meets Atsali, will there be a quantum singularity of emotional misunderstanding?

I just hope that along with the human form she got a dose of social animal behaviors. Without them she will be at a severe loss as to how to anticipate and interact with the other humanoids.DilyV wrote:Personally I foresee problems with Digit's name... Well, not so much her name as people's acceptance of that being her name. I mean everyone has a realistic name when you look at it, right? Except maybe Phix, but then she doesn't spend too much time in the human world. I'm worried for Digit... this will be her first real exposure to large groups of people for extended periods of time. I hope she'll be okay.
It actually makes some sense: Digit's been used to expressing herself without facial expressions, which means that her emoting is more through amplified gestures and stances. Atsali might be able to tune in to those sorts of things better than she can facial expressions.Gyrrakavian wrote:'Because irony', right?Cortanis wrote:Yep. Do you read Alexie Aaron?Catawampus wrote:Let's just say that I know a guy who knows a guy who knows a. . .thing.jwhouk wrote:Hey! How'd you get a hold of the Gryphon School Handbook?
Seeing as how this is the first that I ever recall seeing that name, I'd hazard a guess that I haven't.AnotherFairportfan wrote:Do you read Alexie Aaron?
Alexie Aaron is an author of paranormal romances - centered around a spook-busting group called PEEPS. They have lots of friends and associates, one of whom is a guy who knows a guy who can{whatever}.Catawampus wrote:Seeing as how this is the first that I ever recall seeing that name, I'd hazard a guess that I haven't.AnotherFairportfan wrote:Do you read Alexie Aaron?
