Well, that disguise will work well, but only if Monica and Digit move to Kalifornia.
I do think Cricket is maybe a bit too willing to use the "teach a cat to swim by throwing it into the water, so it
has to learn quickly" approach.

Well, the pedipalps are gone, but I'm not sure that's an improvement . . .
. . .
She could get some hair and skin dye and move to a temple in India!

With the right backpack, she could hide the spare pair behind her back.
I wonder if she'll relax be giving herself 8 limbs?

Both the pedipalps and the extra eyes are gone, but now she looks like she's doing Spinnerette cosplay.

Those eyes...
Little Orphant Annie
Little Orphant Annie's come to our house to stay,
An' wash the cups an' saucers up, an' brush the crumbs away,
An' shoo the chickens off the porch, an' dust the hearth, an' sweep,
An' make the fire, an' bake the bread, an' earn her board-an'-keep;
An' all us other children, when the supper-things is done,
We set around the kitchen fire an' has the mostest fun
A-list'nin' to the witch-tales 'at Annie tells about,
An' the Gobble-uns 'at gits you
Ef you
Don't
Watch
Out!
Wunst they wuz a little boy wouldn't say his prayers,--
An' when he went to bed at night, away up-stairs,
His Mammy heerd him holler, an' his Daddy heerd him bawl,
An' when they turn't the kivvers down, he wuzn't there at all!
An' they seeked him in the rafter-room, an' cubby-hole, an' press,
An' seeked him up the chimbly-flue, an' ever'-wheres, I guess;
But all they ever found wuz thist his pants an' roundabout:--
An' the Gobble-uns 'll git you
Ef you
Don't
Watch
Out!
An' one time a little girl 'ud allus laugh an' grin,
An' make fun of ever' one, an' all her blood-an'-kin;
An' wunst, when they was "company," an' ole folks wuz there,
She mocked 'em an' shocked 'em, an' said she didn't care!
An' thist as she kicked her heels, an' turn't to run an' hide,
They wuz two great big Black Things a-standin' by her side,
An' they snatched her through the ceilin' 'fore she knowed what she's about!
An' the Gobble-uns 'll git you
Ef you
Don't
Watch
Out!
An' little Orphant Annie says, when the blaze is blue,
An' the lamp-wick sputters, an' the wind goes woo-oo!
An' you hear the crickets quit, an' the moon is gray,
An' the lightnin'-bugs in dew is all squenched away,--
You better mind yer parunts, an' yer teachurs fond an' dear,
An' churish them 'at loves you, an' dry the orphant's tear,
An' he'p the pore an' needy ones 'at clusters all about,
Er the Gobble-uns 'll git you
Ef you
Don't
Watch
Out!

Four armed is fore warned.
Cricket seems calm about this.
I'm kind of surprised the new arms tore through the shirt. Fabric normally has lots of tensile strength. It must be pretty thin material.

Just one arm?
(puts in a statue of the goddess Kali in her four armed aspect. signed by the model, of course.

Fortunately Digit is a girl. If Digit was a male spider, having pedipalps exposed (or removed) would be problematic as that is where the "male parts" are. Girl spiders have theirs under the abdomen, so close-ish to humans, and not a big change. Just sayin.
But the presence of Mammalian features does raise some questions about future dating and offspring . . . . I can't even hazard a guess how that could/would work out.

With much experimentation . . .
Gives a whole new meaning to "Watch out boy she'll chew you up* . . ."

I meant with a K (as in "Kali-fornia" as in "she's in the state of having four arms"), and my Android tablet's spellchecker "corrected" it to "California" and I didn't notice.

Or maybe it only
looks as though she has mammalian physique, but it's all still arachnid. Spiders have hair-like setae, so maybe that's what her "hair" is. We can't see her inner ears, so she might not have any ear bones. She could have a simple tube-shaped heart. And her chest might be the location of a couple of protruding egg sacs, and any future prospective love interests could be traumatised for life upon witnessing the hatching.

I think a visit to a para-friendly doctor might be in order, to ascertain what exactly her innards look like, and whether that would be cause for concern. Allergies? What kind of food to eat? And so much more...
