Tsundere was obvious early on in this ... relationship.

Castel is not oblivious to her shortcomings. That's a good sign.

We can just refer to Castela by her new nickname: "Stormy Heather".

"... your honor, I rest my case..."

Maybe we shouldn't blame Castela. It's just the humor she's in right now.

I'd say she is aware that she is being a tsundere. I'm thinking she was trying to appear to be oblivious to what she thinks is Timmy's affection for her. She may be trying to be just a little bit subtle, but at the same time she's trying to make it obvious enough for him to get the hint.

So either he got the hint, and is shocked, or he missed it completely. Or he could also think that it sounds like she's dropping the hint, but then be in denial.

"Wait, did she just...? No, she couldn't have meant that!"

Well, at least she knows.

Or she heard his eyeballs rolling.

I can just see Timmy talking to his dad concerning Castela about the same way i did to mine about my 3 sisters moods and then asking him if had any idea. No matter how involved my explanations where his answer was always nope, you need to go find and old fella and ask him if he understands wemenfolk. Granddaddy couldn't stop laughing long enough to answer.

Seems like Timmy digs that sort of character, perhaps she's going into this role on purpose?
Or, with more concerning overtones, did she pick up on that with her abilities and is subconsciously mimicking the style he may like?

I don't think she's doing it subconsciously, though.

Ode to a Louse, Robert Burns. One of my favorites.

I remember once a buddy of mine bribed me to to to an anime convention dressed as Tuxedo Mask. So I wore a reversible coat, with a silk collapsible top hat. So I could change from Tuxedo Mask to Vash the Stampede in nothing flat. I also picked up a couple dozen silk roses. When I was 'spotted', I'd duck around the corner, swap around, drop a rose, and wander off in a different direction. To their eyes, apparently, Tuxedo Mask vanished and left only a rose behind.

Something I just thought of... Castela could just tell him that she was trying to give him a great setup to make a move.

Unfortunately, emotions are involved, making a mess of everything. Oh well, let the argument commence!

Naw. I think the argument is pretty much over, at least for now.

If this is Saturday at the con, Monday at school will be ... interesting.

Something else I didn't consider: Timmy could also have asked Castela to be his study partner to make Scarlet jealous, or maybe he figured that they wouldn't get any studying done. Although, given his difficulty thinking around girls who aren't flat, he probably wouldn't be accomplishing anything from studying with her.
