I wonder if Phix knew this could happen... I mean I know she knew about the play back feature, but did she know it could go interactive like this?

I dont think Atsali is even close to ready to learn any of this. She already at the breaking point, this would probably push her over.

Castela needs to bring this to Kath. Kath needs to figure out if and how to bring this to Atsali.

This one actually kinda made me choke up a little bit...

Ironically, the only plant piece of anatomy she doesn't seem to form is blossoms.

I'm guessing that it's a deliberate part of the programming. Phix said that the Library would collate and sequence all of the information and present it as a narrative. Castela has just met the narrator for this part of the presentation.

And she's probably about to explain why she brought Castela home.

Humm, if the construct were to talk to Atsali and explain how proud they were that she carried on their duty as guardian of Castela after they fell in the line of duty might just make a world of deference to her. On the other hand could also drive her coocoo for coco puffs.

Personally I suspect that the Library computer weighs a number of factors in deciding how to present things...

Of course, this comic has some severely problematic ramifications for my character in the fanfic... Glytch is a firm believer in the "A.I. Is A Crapshoot" trope. He would be, at the absolute minimum, extremely suspicious of this "Downloaded" Leucoisa. He'd also be pants-shittingly terrified of the overall Library A.I. too, but he hasn't learned about that yet.
