Thank you! Haven't heard either of these tunes in many years...really need to restock my Fairport Convention collection as all my originals are on vinyl.AnotherFairportfan wrote:Watch out for mermaids!

/flrrd/ is a tyop (typo) for /flees/: the left hand slid one key to the right.TazManiac wrote:If its nice and fresh, you don't need the lemon slice...FreeFlier wrote:[img 'of GrumpyCat...TazManiac wrote:I only need just the one 'ting:

(I'ma stick to my guns, 'Voice-of-God' relates these particular members of the Tuna Squad are now old enough to have not only graduated High School, but are now in College... )
Furthermore, I seem to recall reading that it was the author of It's Walky who first made that typo. Or, at least, that it was after he made it (on a forum, or whatever), that it caught on... because I'm sure someone else has to have made that typo before...FreeFlier wrote:/flrrd/ is a tyop (typo) for /flees/: the left hand slid one key to the right.
And Grumpy Cat's name is Tarter Sauce . . . don't ask me why.

On the CRFH!!! forums, that's quite possible. I would have no idea. I'm just saying I thought I read somewhere that it started spreading after David Willis did it. I could be wrong (it wouldn't be the first time), but that's what I seem to remember.FreeFlier wrote:I thought it was Tchernobyl (sp?) who first used flrrd.lake_wrangler wrote:Furthermore, I seem to recall reading that it was the author of It's Walky who first made that typo.
