As long as she doesn't go to seed....

Doing that at school would definitely earn her a Time Out... if there was any teacher foolhardy enough to try to enforce it.

And got the whole Mama's Voice treatment about five seconds later... not precisely a Time Out in the literal sense, but it's a technique drawn from the same bag of parental tools...

In this case, think the venting is closer to a biological need than a psychological one. A physical pressure that needs release.

I thought not being an easy to creep, but that really creeped me out.

I wonder if she's just unleashing emotional pressure, or if there's more to it than that. Who knows what might build up in a Blackthorn/human hybrid? Magic, energy, misadjustment between her internal systems, salt: She seems to be expelling SOMETHING.

Phix knew what was coming. She said Pickle could do it in the study, it was sound-proof. So she's seen Castela do this before, it's not a one time thing.
