Might need to replace your shoes afterwards, though!

*pat her on the head*
There there, sprout. This just means you'll have more stable footing in a fight.
Besides, it could always be worse.
*indicates my own feet*

I can see Castela quoting
My White Mama's catchphrase.

That kid does seem to have a bit of an attitude when it comes to other people.

Well, she
is a "plant person," not a "people person."
...
Is that a pun? I don't know if that counts as a pun...

Well, we know she's gonna be something of a problem kid in the near future.

That makes it even better.
Of course, she could be related to Audrey II and be a REAL people-lover.

SOooooo I was just wondering . . .since she is really a plant in her natural form, wouldn't curing a case of the "Cankles" be just a matter of concentration on adjusting her human form. She can manifest eyeballs, but usually doesn't (mostly I suspect so the audience can tell who it is) and the first time we met her she was overjoyed about going to the mall for shopping because it had been taken over by the MIB so the paranormals that couldn't hold their human shape could go shopping, etc. etc.
A shape shifting plant, that can kill Fae, now that is a scary thought

Especially to the Fae.
Who are not particularly well-thought-of by the other paras.

Especially when they're considered to be the ones behind the Plant Weaponization program (and hence why Calista's aunt got involved).

Well, Fae are dicks, anyway, so she should be as scary as she wants.

Are they? I thought a group of men were involved (as well as some paras, like Atsali's parents), but mostly led by men... The Fae were involved in stopping them, because of the fact that a Blackthorn was being hybridized, and that would be dangerous to them.
That's what I got, from reading the comic... Is the Shadow Government made up of mostly paras, or mostly men?

No, the Shadow Government is made up of lizard people and sock puppets. That's, like, common knowledge.

Yeah, the Blackthorn Project was specifically to create an anti-fae weapon.
