Yeah, the comment about Timothy noticing Scarlet bears out.

bright green!

The little weed is jealous.

So Timothy and Scarlet are NOT sibs.

I hope.

So, Timothy is likely to be stammering worse than Pickle used to do. Neurocirculatory problems... all of the blood rushing away from his brain, and to into his blush... and perhaps other places.

And, yeah, adolescent growth spurts can be difficult. Almost by definition, you're hit with physical changes faster than you are socially or emotionally ready to handle them. Castela is right... it's not fair.

Ah man, I'm loving these Castela comics more then I had the Atsali ones for awhile now. Wonder if she is the new main? I'd be upset about no main relationship being between two women, which is why I was always sad Jet and Monica didn't get together till after the focus shifted to Atsali. But I love these Castela comics so it's a bit of an either or.

Is is just me, or was there an implied "My", in front of Timothy, in that last panel?

At least Timothy is trying to look Scarlet in the face instead of what's at eye level...

Anyone else notice that Kath is self-medicating for the conversation ahead? LOL

Looking at 'Have Your Back' Scarlet looks more Felis felis particularly whatever the breed of black cat is that's often depicted in ancient egyptian art. Not sure if it's the mau or not. Timothy is more Panthera leo.

At least she managed to avoid saying "growing like a weed".

I gotta say, she really is rocking that gray streak now.

Also, I can't wait to see what happens that leads to Grunge/punk teenage Castela we see in that one piece of art.

She needs to explain to Castela that she and her friends, including Timothy are in the process of being ambushed by natural changes they won't understand until it's over. Seriously, Timmy has no clue what's happening to him or why. Without a father figure in the house, I worry that the girls will never get told this or figure it out for themselves. Heck, boys sometimes never figure it out.

The medicating may be less important than something to do with the hands and mouth . . .

It could be as simple as an excuse for when her facial marking show . . . everyone simply assumes it's makeup.
