Me too. Very much so.

Yes, I listen to music older than I am. I also listen to dubstep and classical and any mixture of the three.

Blue Oyster Cult, Alice Cooper, Deep Purple, Def Leppard, Dokken, Quiet Riot, Kiss, Girlschool, Great White, Hawkwind, Iron Maiden, some of the Heavy Metal bands I liked and remember from 69 to 90.

I have officially decided I was born too late.

Rock was the music I loved first and will always love the most, and I missed out on its heyday.

Of these, i saw the Dirt Band in concert - back when they were calling themselves just "The Dirt Band" and trying very hard to be Alabama.

My main live-music experiences include the Kinks (every time they played Atlanta between 1975 and 1990), Tom Petty and Blondie (both opening for the Kinks on the same bill, 1978), Zappa (several times), Dr Hook (opening for Zappa), John Cougar (Mellencamp) opening for the Kinks, Dylan, the Roches, Jason & the Scorchers, Dave van Ronk (three or four times), Commander Cody, Richard Thompson, Steeleye Span, Fairport Convention (several times, both in the US and England), Webb Wilder, Warren Zevon, Tom Paxton, Eric Bogle, Wolfstone...

Is it just me, or does it look like Nadette is making sure nobody will see her cop a feel?

OOTH, it might be that no-one saw her . . .

Griopping hand, it might also be that she knows someone did . . .

The various people who I work with seem confused by the notion that I don't just listen to one genre of music. Apparently, people are only supposed to listen to just country music, or just rap music, or just classical Persian court music. I can't imagine what it must be like, living with that sort of limited musical lifestyle.

Being Nadette, she could probably grope her girlfriend with any number of purpose-built appendages at any time without any onlookers realising what is going on.

Well, I'll just take your word for it. I honestly can't recall ever having permission from a girl/woman to do anything of the sort.

HAH! You certainly wouldn't get permission from her, that's MY playground! Seriously, never?

Well, if I ever did, I was never made aware of it. I'd always wanted to avoid giving the impression that I'm some sort of creep, so I just keep my hands to myself. Considering that I've been asked directly by girls if I thought they were attractive or wanted to have sex with them (I'd gotten both questions), I learned the hard way that these questions are traps, at least if I answered with a yes or no. If I said no, they got offended as hell, and if I said yes, they acted disgusting.

As much as I would like to avoid doing so, signing up for a dating site may be the only option.

(Given my age, I may not be marketable for much longer, either...)

Yeah, same here. Thanks to the eclectic tastes of my mother, I'll listen to anything I find interesting. Good beat, word cadence, interesting lyrics. Sometimes just an interesting sound. my iPoot, which is currently missing, has 160 gigs of everything from opera to rap to spoken word and everything in between...

I was recently rather startled by the number and identity of co-workers who are Iron Maiden fans . . . and some of the ones who weren't . . .

So you're implying that Nadette's left hand is down in Atsali's shoes?

. . .

That would explain the respective expressions!

A gentleman wouldn't state or imply anything about what is going on in a young lady's shoes.

And neither would I.
