Yep.
Last i heard - he was about eighty at the time, i think - Chuck Yeager still had 20/10 near and far vision in both eyes.

Well, she never seemed to have much problem when just lounging around at home or with friends. It was the whole "going out in public" thing that got to her. . .though given her attempt to go out to a nightclub in her salsa-dancing outfit, perhaps that is changing as well. Maybe going out in public with her girlfriend makes a difference.

I've rarely considered the pinups to be canon unless they eventually link directly to a comic page

Sadly, the hawks have moved on. Been hearing owls lately. This morning when leaving for work (6AM) there were three within hooting distance. Great. Now I need to find a night vision lens.

Sometimes the pinups introduce characters some time before we actually meet them - Cricket, as an instance.
