I wouldn't have been surprised to see the little Stinkweed with a saw near the base of the branch... That probably happened just after this.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, though, that I think Atsali looks Bette with her grey (or silver?) skin. Though it could be because that's how I'm used to seeing her.

I hadn't noticed but now that you mention it, I too long for the slightly blue-ish tint she's up till now.

Maybe she's flushed like blushing, (but wouldn't that make for a Purple Atsali?)

Actually, it's only in his more usual limited-palette art that Atsali is rendered using cool neutral-tone markers a lot.

When Paul does full-palette stuff (like this gouache), Atsali has more "normal skin-tone" skin:

She's a teenager, so she probably makes herself all sorts of unusual colours whenever she gets a chance. Why not full-body makeup?

Why bother with full body make-up when you can do it with a thought? Or, more probably, a little concentration...

I have no vote but I vote for a light blue tint, w/ blue freckles...
