Somebody gonna be wondering wha' hoppen when she finds herself flattened in the road with tire tracks up her back (metaphorically speaking, since we know there is no highway in the sky).
And Atsali ... well. i remember what Jame's brother said about
her in one of
P.C. Hodgell's "Kencyrath" books - "Someday we'll find the entire land devastated and Jame sitting in the middle of it with a vaguely apologetic expression on her face..."
Or Devyn.
Or Nadette. Nadette is, after all, a bear at heart.
The term "mama bear" exists for a reason.

You know what would be really useful right now? Lightning bolt.
*KRA-KOOOOM*
"AUGH!"
"OI, YOU! LITTLE MISS CHIP ON 'ER SHOUDER! I strongly suggest you take some time to think before you open your mouth again, because I think you'll find Atsali here is not what you think by far! Next time you think you're fit to judge someone, shut your yap and make bloody sure you know what it is you're talkin about!"

As they say, never meet your 'sports hero' ... you may be disappointed by their over competitive, jealous attitude... :/

Hm. I see I was off about Girl # 1 being the shy, friendly type (her vocal patterns are IN-teresting), but disturbingly correct about # 2. Hopefully # 3 is less hostile.
I note that while we now know Ellen's name, #1 and the Coach remain nameless.

It's early yet.
But as you wish. (ahem) GROOOOWWWLLLLLL.

Sigh. This strip used to be about ancient mysteries, hidden powers and mythical energy underlying the everyday world. Now it's just Harry Potter with lesbians.

I don't think you understand what this strip is about at all.

it was never about the magic. It's always been about the societal issues and the trials people face.
And Harry Potter isn't "just" something.

Girl #3 is still unnamed. She might be the one who befriends Atsali.

"A Supernatural Slice-of-Life Story."
Exactly what it says on the tin.
