It's good to see that Jasper has a well-trained human to take care of her.

Re: Photo Album
There was confusion. Why didn't the kitty run away or have smells?
Jasper was befused. Her SOP for kitties is to stop and go into a point, then slo-o-o-owly approach, step by step (as I let her) until the cat bows up or runs off. This one was different. Sat there. Didn't move. Made no noise. Jasper finally stuck her muzzle through the fence, schnoofing for a scent, and then backed up. Just didn't know what to do! So to save her, I gave the command to move on and we did, kitty forgotten.
And please note that I do not let her get close to kitties. Number one, I like kitties too. Number two, I'd rather not have to take her to the vet for stitches. The nose is a large target.

First airshow of the year for me, Breckenridge TX. Good show, plenty to see and hear! Here are some selected shots, there are some videos on my Instagram feed. Nothing spectacular, just a video record of things taxiing by going "chugeda chugeda chugeda" and action in the sky. I'm also hansontoons in that media.

Re: Photo Album
One of these days, I need to get over to the Commemorative Air Force museum and take a few photos.

Re: Photo Album
I just tried viewing one of the photos I had posted to show someone, noted that when clicking on the image, part of it is cut off. The sliders on side and bottom work if viewing in post.
Guess it is a sizing thing? Will have to try posting one later. Always figured that better to have larger size pic for viewing, maybe not.

The "full" view in the forum is always somewhat limited in the maximum width it can show... and the image does not scale down.Hansontoons wrote:I just tried viewing one of the photos I had posted to show someone, noted that when clicking on the image, part of it is cut off. If you use your browser's "open this image in a new window/tab" feature, the new view will show the whole image.

Dropped by Museum of Fine Arts Houston recently to have a gander at Cloud Column by Anish Kapoor. He also created Cloud Gate, better known as "The Bean" in Chicago.

That is pretty damn cool. I'm not sure of the shape of the object from the images.

Take a sphere, now take a scoop out of it, now stretch the whole thing vertically.

Re: Photo Album
That makes sense. At first, I thought it might have been a ring, but then the one photo where we see a reflection in the middle portion made no sense. And the other side was smooth, so it couldn't have been a ring anyway.GlytchMeister wrote: ↑Sat Dec 01, 2018 2:58 pm Take a sphere, now take a scoop out of it, now stretch the whole thing vertically.
Thanks for clearing that up.
