If you recall, that was the morning after their sudden appearance. She's had plenty of time to grow used to 'em.

Definitely dense, but it's unrelated to the event you just mentioned: at the time of her sudden onset of puberty, she was concerned about people who knew her, and would think poorly of her because of the sudden change. She has had time to adjust, and is now more comfortable about her own body. She still doesn't seem to realize the effect she may have on others, though. She usually is concerned about people thinking poorly of her (i.e. thinking of her in stereotypes attributed generally to sirens), not about people genuinely being turned on by her.

At least, that's my take on it.
