I don't see Atsali or Pickle in the waiting room, just Kath, Nadette, and Pickle's friend.

The look on Kath's face is heartbreaking! I'm thinking this was Kath, Nadette and Pickle's lil friend... I have to ask though... is this a normal hospital or a para normal hospital? What damages were done and to whom? Eeeks Eeeeks and more EEEEEEEEKS!!!

I interpreted that as Kat, Nadette's mom, and Castela's friend's mom. The hair is different on the middle lady, so not Nadette...and the third is too tall in the chair to be a kid Castela's age and size.

Nadette's got to be about ready to . . . what would the appropriate colloquialism about horniness overcapacity here be anyhow?

I'm guessing that between Pickle scaring Atsali and Atsali's combat reflexes, there was some sort of paranormal mêlée, and no one escaped unscathed.

I'm wagering that is Nadette's mom and Pickle's friend's mom with Kath.

Considering that Atsali's fight or flight reflex since puberty kicked in has been shown to be cranked to fight so hard she doesn't even know what happened.. this could a very sad.

Eh, Stinkweed is nigh-invincible, so I doubt she's hurt to any significant degree. However, if Astali responded with lethal force and Pickle responded by unravelling... what could have happened next would've been roughly approximate to doing bondage with barbed wire. Completely by accident, of course. And might need the good doctors to unravel them safely.

And who knows what a young ursamorph might morph into, as part of a "startle" reaction, especially if she was already hopped up on adrenalin watching a scary movie. A defensive reflex involving spines and claws and big sharp pointy teeth could have caused some collateral damage.

Didn't forget about her, but that's okay because that's not Berdine. Check the tags.

That the parents, has to be, all the same size and such. First thing i thought of when i saw the comic was an old threat we used when i was young. gonna kick your rear end so hard we both gonna have to go to the hospital to get my foot surgically removed.

I think Red from That 70's Show said that at one point... One I've heard is "put my boot so far up your rear you'll choke on it!"

Also: I am feeling very worried for the girls... And very sorry for the moms.

One does not startle paranormal heavy hitters for the same reason one does not jump-scare a hardened criminal - you will get your clock thoroughly cleaned.

Those aren't the other moms, though. Kath is the only "adult" in the last frame.

My favorite was Bill Guarnere's statement in Band of Brothers when he was talking about Lt. Dyke having his "head so far up his ass that lump in his throat is his goddamned nose!"

My concern is, how badly the participants were injured... also, Kath has HAD to have had this talk with Castela about antagonizing her sister.

You honestly expect a kid to not antagonize their sibling?

Especially after being told not to??? Sometimes the fastest way to get someone to do something is to tell them not to do it.

I think the bottom frame is three moms. Katherine on our left, of course; as far as I can recall neither of the other two has been named yet.

The one on the right definitely has a face similar to Daylla's, but is much too tall for her. The one in the middle has a strong family resemblance to Nadette and Berdine, but doesn't look enough like either of them to actually *be* them.

Same here. I think Nadette's mom has a tinge of grey in her hair in front of her ears.


That was one seriously poorly planned prank. I wonder if Sam Pepper gave them the idea.
