am i the only one that doesn't like the little snot? A nickname, insulting or not, does not require that sort of excess force. Nor was i happy about the way she treated the bullies either :/

It's really pretty simple: Atsali and Nadette weren't on the island. They used the library transporter to go home and get ice cream while Devyn wiped out the beach. They just got back. Connie needs a bit of equalizing.

I'm really starting to like Devyn. The mischievous grin in the last panel is awesome!!!

While I wouldn't say I dislike her, she plays a little fast and loose with her powers for my taste. Which, I'm hoping/assuming is just a personality setup that will lead to a little life lesson down the line, setup by Connie, or even Atsali to show her how her 'revenge' tactics can go wrong.

It might have been the throwing beer bottles into the ocean bit, too. If Devyn is as intimately connected to the sea as she appears to be...

As to the bullies, as was noted at the time, only fools would poke another paranormal without knowing what they're capable of. Devyn did them a favor - maybe - by giving them such a scary but ultimately safe demonstration of the dangers of that. She just did the same to Connie, who has been mildly abusive to Devyn since she showed up.

The thing is, the reverse applies, too. Devyn doesn't know what Connie can do, OR how she might react to this. Hopefully this doesn't result in a poking escalation.

Besides just the ice cream, how are any of them getting to and from the island without *Poit* powers?
