Nah, I knew why, I just got that particular training from a far more disreputable source.
Well, I won't be needing the neti pot today...sinuses are so very clear...
*impish grin*

One does one's best. Glad to be of service! Better than taking sudafed. Fewer side effects, plus the healing power of laughter! The doctor is IN.

Hey, uh, quick question. Who made Billens? I need some character insight and I figured I should probably just go to the source.

Wasn't Billens canon, as a spear-carrier? I seem to have that impression . . . though the character developed in the fics.

I created Billens as a human throw-away character in 'The Elixir'. I originally wanted to call him 'Billings', but decided to not involve the township in North-West Montana- Joe turned him immortal in '150 years ago'. Others have added to his nature, but Joe probably 'knows' more about him than anyone else. He does not exist in Paul Taylor's works.

Correction: he is not NAMED in Paul's works.

He is based off of "Salted Caramel Latte Popsicle" guy from the scene where Brandi meets Lily for the first time.

Ah... I had not considered that fellow when I wrote about him...

Now What? - He is the guy in the middle panel, enjoying his popsicle.
Latte Popsicle - And here he utters his two single lines. "Salted Caramel Latte Popsicle. The Boss wants to meet you."

Your mercy towards your readers is greatly appreciated.

You even resisted the temptation to have him married, at some point, to one of the descendants of the great Huguenot doctor and scholar Dr. Johannes Mousnier de la Montagne. They might have decided to hyphenate their married names... think of the poor children... :(

That's what I was thinking of . . . not sure how I made the connection.

---
That was excessively entertaining . . . my keyboard decided to have a half-dozen keys stop working in mid-post.

unplug/replug . . . nope. Restart . . . nope . . . switch to spare keyboard - a different set of keys don't work. Switch to spare spare keyboard . . . a third different set don't work, including the returns.

Dig through the back room . . . spare spare spare keyboard . . . works. It's worth noting that this is the only brand-new still in the box one . . . now I have to order more. The local stores only have straight-line wireless keyboards and I need a PS/2 ergo keyboard.
