Whoever coined the phrase "more fun than a barrel of monkeys" obviously never spent an afternoon cramming the little buggers into one.

snopes.com wrote:On 17 September 2012, a woman later dubbed "Donna the Deer Lady" called the weekly "vent line" feature of Fargo radio station Y94's "Morning Playhouse" show and stated that she had been in three car accidents involving deer in the last few years, all of which had occurred near deer-crossing signs; she then offered seemingly earnest complaints about officials' "allowing these deer crossings to be in such high-traffic areas" and questioned "why we are encouraging deer to cross the interstate."

Snopes goes on to explain "Donna" was a plant. (Not in the same vine, er, vein as Castela, though.)

But do the deer ever pay attention to the signs??
Noooo- jay-walking bastards just cross wherever they want to.
Y'know, I've got a nice, concise, little avatar pic that I've been using for ten damned years, and this is the first place I've ever tried to use it that said it was too big.
Screw it- I'm stayin' generic.

Jessie only just now closed up her gills. I wonder if she's been flopping about on the poolside in her fish tail this whole time?

I assume it's more of a common courtesy thing.
Unless there's some paras with particular acidic or basic urine. Even diluted, some strong acids and strong bases can leave a hell of a rash.
