Of course, with a pool volume large enough to have a depth of 65 feet, any pee would be so dilute as to have no effect whatsoever.

I am assuming that this is metaphorical... Though it could be another matter if mama grew up in the ocean...

I LIKE this girl/mermaid. I guess some paras mature mentally faster than humans.

i would figure that several of the para sea based groups would be like sharks. able to detect even small traces of blood. so peeing in the pool would be like holding a sign saying here look at me, i did it.

Haha! It might just be a metaphor, but I kinda like the idea that big mamma bitch pees the pool. So great and undignified. lol What would the rest of the mothers think? Haha

That is actually how I took it. Peeing in the pool -> spreading negativity around you.

Jessie's lost her gills. I guess she's planning to stay on dry land for a while - maybe go over and talk to Atsali.

Uh-HUH. I was wondering yesterday how Jessie knew so much about her grandfather. Reading through her grandmother's old letters would do the trick. Maybe there was a diary in there, too. This girl does seem to have her head screwed on straight. Unlike her mother.

I wonder if Grandpa is still among the living. It would appear Grandmother is not. For which I think we may all be thankful.

"Deer Crossing" signs are put up along the roads where there have been a certain number of unfortunate deer/vehicle interactions.

I think it is more a saying like "You do not pee were you swim." (or how we landdwellers say: "don't shit where you eat")

The saying is that Hate is a thing that always corrodes it's own container. Jess might just have a chance to neutralize the load of poison Mama G has been lugging around for so many years. Even if her mom doesn't accept the help in letting go, Jess made an excellent attempt of extraordinary magnitude.
