Heh. I didn't even look at the page title, but the comment that instantly popped into my head was

"Eventually, the penny dropped, and the mechanism emitted a faint creaking sound."

That looks like clueless innocence to me.

We may also be in for a scene change since we've reached such a nice cliff hanger.

One more thing. Is that a bit of vine appearing behind Atsali in the final frame?

We see the back of Atsali's chair in the other frames, but in the last on Atsali seems to lean forward as her jaw drops and then something new appears in our field of vision. What or who might that be?

that implies that the OS is still capable of rational input, in order for you to tell it to continue or not...

I'm gonna say that it's more of a BSOD kind of thing... (Blue Screen of DUH?!) and Atsali can't do squat for the next few, until she processes that info. and i also agree with Aed that there will be a scene change before we get to the next panel of this scene...

And Nadette finally stated the situation with utmost clarity. Now Atsali is: 1)about to speak, 2)gobsmacked to the extent of being unconsciously slack jawed, or 3)about to open mouth plant one one Nadette. I am leaning towards number 2.

This is a critical moment. Part of the reason Atsali has valued her friendship with Da Bears is that they provided some shelter from the horndog boys who've been sniffing around her. Now...there's every possibility that she'll feel as if Nadine has been doing the same thing. If she stays calm and thinks it through, she can avoid that. But as upset and confused as she is...this could go very badly for both of them.
