My wife's family used to consider it a "must" to stop there in their occasional road trips from Seattle to southern California, decades ago... they're Norwegian, and Scandinavian pea soup is a traditional comfort food for them. She insisted that we have dinner there on our first trip through the area when we began dating, so that I "could see what all the fuss was about."
The Andersens themselves are quite interesting. They have family connections to an old organization of Gregorian monks, and maintain some of the old-church practices of hospitality and service. In particular, they have a tradition that any customer willing to "sing for their supper" along with the family, will receive a second bowl of soup for free. My wife has an excellent singing voice, and did even as a young girl, so she definitely took advantage of this generous offer.
Their motto: All we are saying, is give peas a chant.

They consider 382 miles a 'short drive'? I'm in Texas and we'd consider that a fur piece....

I've been through a few low water crossings that tested the amphibiosity of my vehicle...I'd give Hawaii a run with the right truck...

They are likely connected by a series of tunnels...

That thing barely made it across the channel! What are you trying to do to me?
Although. With a few modifications, I still think it can be done...
