Won't you feel silly if this IS today's strip?

It is today's strip. Pablo slipped one over on us.

I suspect the strip may now jump off to a different topic for a while, with Castela serving as the messenger of transition.

It would be quite appropriate for a precocious child such as Pickle to just leap onto a segue and ride off to a new adventure!

I think this is the Friday Cliffhanger, like the last two days didn't happen.

Gah! So cute you almost forget the prehistoric soul and ridiculous amounts of power that fit in the same package!

For everyone who was expecting to see her sister in her bikini as seen from
that perspective.....

April Fool!

(Dang it!)

Castela's got it right. You don't do April Fools pranks on April First, because that's when everyone expects it.

For those who may have forgotten, this is extremely accurate. I have daughters 7, 9, and 11 years old. "April Fool's Day" is more like "April Fool's Fortnight."

Their pranks are so lame, it's adorable.

Or perhaps her sister from Castela's perspective? Which apparently involves some sort of incredibly sensitive Cookie-Vision detecting ability.
