Busted!
Seriously, Lily. You're a 5000 year old vampire working for the MiB and assigned to the Jaguar Girl, and a talking bodice surprises you?

Well, if it's a radio, it's clearly in
STEREO! STEREO!

Are they woofers or tweeters?

Yes. (Depositing a pair of Harmon-Cardon speakers in the Pun Vault)

Insert joke about adjusting the knobs.

I think it was more the bounce movement while speaking that freaked her out. This is making me remember an incident of a similar nature when i was much younger. Mine also involved a pretty girl but it had much alcohol involved and a prankster friend who could throw his voice, not a good combination.

That question implies a rather dualistic world-view
I agree with Opus the Poet... the answer is
"Yes".

And the ultimate in personal surround-sound!

Do not adjust your set -- We control the vertical, we control the horizontal....

Cripes, hasn't anyone hit on that Atsali is the tweeter and Nadette is the woofer?

Personally I would have been more dead pan about it.
"What the fuck is that?!!"
My boobs.
...
They can talk.
...
Apparently that's a thing now.
...
Who knew?

Harman Kardon
Don't monkey around with misspellings, it hits too close to home...
btw- they aren't either Woofer OR Tweeter- they instead are Bi-Amped.

Atsali, yes, I can see that. Not sure about Nadette, though. She's bear-folk, and I don't believe bears actually woof. They growl, they snarl, they pop their jaws as a threat, and they occasionally heyboo, but I don't think they woof.

Certain types of "bears" apparently do.

I recall a cartoon in BE (Broadcast Engineering: industry mag for broadcast engineers, natch) from the late '70s...
Guy and gal in front seat of car, parked on a hilltop.
He's a textbook pocket-protector-equipped nerd, she's rather well-built.
His hand is on the radio tuning control, audio from speaker indicates he's DXing (radio slang: tuning in distant stations, listening for enough details to mail the station for a QSL report confirming that it was the distant signal he heard).
Her thought balloon: "Wish he'd play with my knobs."

Come on, just a minute ago (
http://wapsisquare.com/comic/glowing-2/) Lily knew there were 2 of them with the eyes and all, and now she doesn't?

Mad as she was, she probably didn't notice the eyes and assumed Nadette was either elsewhere or vaporised.
