Yeah, Shadow beat me, but I was distracted by some hockey.
...What? Get your sicko minds out of the gutter!
Anyways - an "incubus". Wonder if he was any relation to Drusilla.

Her dad was an incubus? Oy.
No-one would be safe if she let it all go...
=======
EDIT to add: And little hearts floating around Nadette?
Maybe it wasn't so much being a seer as the "strong emotion" bit?

And what is Nadette's emotional state right now? Those hearts are intriguing...

I was imagining a conversation, one of these future days, between Atsali and her possible boyfriend-to-be...
"So, you're a Siren... full-blood?"
"No, just on my mother's side."
"Oh... what was your father?"
"Very tired."

Or Chloe. (The Dangerous one.)

Actually, what I got from reading today's comic is that she thought her dad was an incubus, because the siren song had no effect on him, but now realizes that it was actually because he was truly in love with her mom (strong emotion), and she therefore could not apply the song to him.

I suppose it's better than coming here to say the two words "Egyptian Ratscrew"

In Brazil and the rainforests of the Amazon Basin, the Boto is a combination of siren and incubus, a very charming and beautiful man who seduces young women and takes them into the river. It is said to be responsible for disappearances and unwanted pregnancies, and it can never be seen by daylight, because it metamorphoses into a kind of river dolphin during those hours. According to legend the boto always wears a hat to disguise the breathing hole at the top of its head.
I wonder if Paul found this and is going this way, very interesting idea. Nothing says it cant be female and she does like to swim.

What it means is, one of the sisters is in love with her, and cannot be charmed. Meanwhile, the other is totally vulnerable. Guess which one is which. The real question is, will Atsali figure out what was the REAL message?

maybe, maybe not.
The "not all of me is in the now to be affected" also mean that
some of Nadette
was 'in the now to be affected'
I suspect the 'in the now' part of Nadette was affected by Atsali's song just as strongly as Berdine was.
It's just that the 'not in the now' Nadette was able to control(override?) the 'now' Nadette and hold a conversation with Atsali instead of reacting like Berdine.
If so, is the last panel with the hearts the 'now' Nadette (fully affected by the song) being allowed to show through? (but still not in full control)

I don't think so. I believe she loves her but is not in love with her.

If I'm right, then the "`Do you know what this means?" may mean that she can indeed try the siren song on the boy she likes, and if he doesn't respond, she'll know he truly does have feelings for her, just like her dad had for her mom and therefore could not be influenced by her.
Or, more generally speaking, that she won't need to worry about any relationship she enters into, as she has a way of telling if the object of her affection reciprocates her feelings or not, by whether he is enthralled by the siren song or not. She can then counter any gossip about her by that fact alone. She need not worry about what others will think.

Not sure that love is a word I'd be prepared to use just yet... but the strong feelings for Atsali was what I was alluding too here:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1746#p38864
It's obvious that Berdine is very much affected by Atsali's song... The lack of effect on Nadette coupled with her facial expression and statement in that strip just pokes at the back of my mind... If this is true, Nadette has given Atsali all she needs to figure it out...
*Leaves a clue-by-four where Atsali can find it*
EDIT: I hadn't noticed the hearts the first time I looked but the dreamy look on Nadette's face is hard to miss (or dismiss). If so, then Atsali has an epiphany coming... (and possibly a Berdine moment like today's, cross eyes and curled toes and all.)

I took the hearts to mean that Nadette loves her sister.
Berdine will do almost anything to protect Nadette and Nadette appreciates it.
Sisterly love and not erotic love.

Part of the 'problem' may be with the English word "love". Greek has
four words that get translated as "love" in English. I get the impression that Paul likes to show us what his characters are feeling so when ever I see the hearts floating about I think of '
agape' rather than the other expressions of love.

So, Atsali is going to sing to the boy, and dump him if he responds.
Is it just me, or does this sound a little twisted to the rest of you?

Those aren't necessarily different, according to some manga that I've read.
