Very interesting indeed.

It makes a crazy kind of sense, since Monica has been having to deal with her own dark side lately. The Jaguar Girl can be, and perhaps is expected to be, somewhat of a sociopath under some circumstance. Both she, and Cricket have some work to do there, in learning to manage this aspect of their personalities.

Working with Calista might be another part of the leadership-and-role-model job that Phix and others seem to feel that Monica is now playing (somewhat to her dismay)

I called it!!!! I just wanted to repeat that. first time I've been right about anything he's done. he keeps surprising me.

It is GOOD, though, that Bern is saying she'll have to work to be her friend, and not that friendship is impossible. She's got a good heart.

Cricket's going to be a bit shocked when she finds out who one of Atsali's 'aunts' is. Maybe when she finds out who ALL of her aunts are. It's interesting: Atsali is trying to get Jin to be her mentor, and Cricket needs Monica to be HER mentor. I wonder if the Bruin sisters need mentors, too.

Ah. Better. Still poor impulse control and sense of proportionality, but at least she's aware of it and is fighting it.

Yeah, a good role model for controlled power might help. And Monica has become that. Partly thanks to Nudge letting her see what happens if she loses control.
