The warning should have read, "Light Fuse, Then GET AWAY REALLY, REALLY FAST! Too Late!"
One serving of Lightly-Toasted Squiggle, coming right up!

Well, Castela is now in fine shape to play the role of the piece of string which walks into a bar, in her school's next situation comedy play. She can introduce herself with the classic line "Hi, I'm A Frayed Knot" with a straight face (assuming she bothers to put on a face at all, that is).

Yes, Castela... Now quit clowning around, pull yourself back together, grab your sun-block lotion and get ready; we're going to the beach.

With Castela "Wile E. Coyote" Gilchrist around we'll probably be seeing a lot more like this in the future. I look for forward to it.

Why would Castela need sunblock lotion? She's part plant. Or may the rating of her sunblock is SPF negative 60.

I learnt that drinking anything while looking at stuff on the 'net was a dangerous thing back when I first found The Skippy List .
I also learnt that day that I can laugh with a mouth full of coffee and (barely) not spit/spill any

I think you're reading into that a bit much.

I think it is more like that derisive grunt a person gives when they realize that they are screwed (ie: (after dropping a serving tray of food) I knew I could do it. (snort) Yea right!!!) followed by the "MOM" of acceptance that they need help.

Yeah, the ellipsis* just seems to be a pause where somebody's looking for something to say, but have been struck speechless. A common enough comic trope.
*I'd forgotten it was called that and did searches for "dot dot dot" and "speechless pause" before finding the page linked above.
