I thought the same. But Atom Ant is from our older generation and the kids today don't really know him. (not quite fair since even Underdog got a sort of revival.)

No kiddin'; besides the obvious scrapes and possible concussion, the most damage Atsali dealt seems to be forcing Calista's antennae into her head (or breaking them clean off).

Given the angle of Atsali's hand, I'm guessing she had to drop to her knees in order to hit... And in order to surprise Calista, she had to do that rather quickly...

So I think Atsali now has some very sore knees...

Makes me wonder why she didn't simply stomp or kick, instead. Maybe she thought that would still have been too mean, even for that comment? I don't know.

all i can feel is that this is going to lead to some funny comics.. the bird got the worm as to say this round

Not an atomic punch. He has total control over size and weight. When he punched he increased his density so the full mass was in his hand as it hit. That let him punch out the bad guys.

man i remember atom ant, havent watched the cartoon in looooooooooooooooooooooooong time thought they should do remake of it for the new generations

maybe, maybe not - one part crouch, two parts good balance (plus using her fist as a balancing point) and I think Atsali could *WAAAM!!* Calista like that without kneeling?

I wonder ... by using her fist instead of her foot, is that why Calista "likes' Atsali?

By 'coming down to her' and using a fist Atsali has (subconsciously?) treated Calista as an equal?
