That is why she is perfect for it. The Orion Slave Girls were anything but. On Enterprise Archer found out that they had a pheromone that could get most males to do anything they wanted. In the reality of it they were the slavers not the slaves. Lets face it. Bud could enslave most males anytime she wished anyway. (I know you knew that but my inner geek was screaming at me.Catawampus wrote:What, not an Orion slave girl? (Though I suppose it would be rather rough on anybody trying to enslave Acacia against her will, much less paint her green.)
Y'know, there's no particular reason why Bud couldn't still be around in the 23rd Century.
I've seen every episode of the Original Series run (including the animated episodes), all of The Next Generation, all of Deep Space Nine up to when the war with the Dominion was starting up, a few of the early episodes of Voyager, and all of the movies, but not even a single minute of Enterprise, nor any of the books and stuff. So really, all that I knew about the Orion slave girls was that they were green women who presumably had some connection to Orion and were often involved in some form of servitude. I'll have to take your word on how well Bud would suit that role, or that role suit Bud.Mark N wrote:That is why she is perfect for it. The Orion Slave Girls were anything but. and in the new movies Kirk was boinking Uhura's roommate, who happened to be an OSG... and Uhura was kinda pissed at her promiscuity... especially when it came to him...jwhouk wrote:Orion Slave Girls were mentioned in the pilot of TOS, but that's about it.
Aaaand now we need a pic of Bud with three strategically placed tribbles...Catawampus wrote:I've seen every episode of the Original Series run (including the animated episodes), all of The Next Generation, all of Deep Space Nine up to when the war with the Dominion was starting up, a few of the early episodes of Voyager, and all of the movies, but not even a single minute of Enterprise, nor any of the books and stuff. I do know enough to expect that she'd make a rather strange tribble, though.

Well, we have seen her cling on to Kevin a few times. And to Gerard Butler. And even to Euryale.Dave wrote:Does the fact that Monica is reacting with distress to the proximity of a tribble, indicate that she has some Klingon ancestry?
