Ok... definite "called it!" points to those who predicted the use of Full Names and/or Mother's Voice.

Both at once... wow, that combination mght even have stopped a young Jaguar Girl in full ire! Momma Bear is not fooling around at all this time!

Atsali's face in the second frame... she looks much younger... about six years old... shocked back into "kid mode" by being spoken to in this way?

Interesting that Atsali was angry enough to acquire the facial markings, pointy ears, and black eyes/fangs/claws, but still didn't manifest the bird legs we know she has from earlier shifts (didn't want to scrape up the floor?). So still no shot of complete full-on siren. Ah, well; I live in hope. Love getting to see a glimpse of Castela in battle-mode; look at all those nasty thorns! She's practically a girl-shaped ball of barbed wire! Any chance we'll ever get to see everybody in a Danger Room sort of combat practice scenario? I'd love to see everyone at their scariest.

Oh! On an unrelated note, I keep forgetting to ask: was it ever clarified if the golem girls can still take their animal forms? Especially Jin; she's human-like now, apparently enough to be able to go to a hospital without raising any alarms, but I could've sworn she had fangs again for a second when she was startled a bit ago.

Mama Voice. After years of having it used on me, I find it intriguing to no end to actually get to wield that power more than a mere second--amusing after hours when I am no longer upset, and my son cannot see me amused.

It also only gets used when I'm super mad. I've had friends try to use it on him and he'd smirk at them, then ignore them. They do not understand that it takes more than a mere mention of the names to be totally effective.

I used to do it at my siblings too, and it was rather potent. Being six and eight years older respectively I am sure also had something to do with it.

Yeah, done right it can shock the devil back into angelic stance.

Something prepared ahead of time maybe? Something like a post hypnotic suggestion implanted in the girls, perhaps with their cooperation even, for just such an event. It seems like an invocation, said in a very specific way and with a particular tone. Seems like it would take more than just a mom voice, even if it is times six, to stop two fierce paranormals in mid attack mode.

I suppose if this were a Japanese cartoon Castela would yell "Bramble Vine Spears Attack!" and Atsali "Raptor Wings Claws Attack!" first.
