Full-on siren mode, for sure... but what's the shadow behind her in panel 1?

(1) Jim, there's a typo in the subject of your thread-starting posting... can you edit it so that the thread shows up correctly?
(2) That shadow is Castela, backlit by the window.
(3) OK, that's a full-fledged Siren morph we haven't seen before... and it is not seductive. At least, not to me.
(4) Kath's reaction leads me to think that she maybe knew what would happen if Atsali really got upset... somebody (MIB?) had given her advanced warning of what an angry Siren would be like.

Hmmm -- this is not Wile E. Coyote vs Road Runner, it's Atsali Wolf Siren vs Tasmanian Vine Devil!
Film at eleven (allowing for survivors).

Like I said before, I'm so glad our fourth wall is rated at Armageddon Class 6++ (Adolescent)(PMS)(Chimera)

Time for a few blasts from a CO2 fire extinguisher. I don't think the carbon dioxide will hurt either sister. Castela may even metabolize some of it, but the cold (and a CO2 blast is cold enough to chill beer) should be enough to startle both girls without doing any lasting harm to either of them or their surroundings.

Interesting choice. Years ago the USAF used CO2 extinguishers to wrangle chimps around - the blast was noisy, was cold, made a big cloud, and was generally dramatic and intimidating but didn't hurt them. (Never mind why the USAF had chimps; that's several other stories.) It would probably work on teenagers.

Judging from the last panel, that room has a tile or brick floor - and the talons are doin' a number on it, from the sparks....

Ah, yes. Little sisters can, indeed, pester one só much that going feral is the logic result..
Siren's true shape is quite cool tbh. And Atsali nów seems indeed like the sirens that eat sailors..

I know this scene is supposed to be dramatic and suspenseful but this is all I could think of after seeing Atsali:

atsali's wings and claws vs castela's (likely) "tangle-and-strangle"
we've already had several pages of "sharp objects don't do much damage to castela". from what we know of her construction, dropping from heights (atsali's other likely attack) probably won't work well either.

We know stabbing doesn't hurt her. Hack&slashing is a different matter ...

I wonder how closely Siren are related to Harpies, and if maybe a Harpy is just an berserk Siren.

Had a professor in college that taught freshman physics as the first class of the day who kept a fire extinguisher in the lecturn and would spray the front rows if we looked like we were falling asleep. The noise is better than an alarm clock.

I'm guessing rend might be more appropriate?

Nature red in tooth and claw. And the full magnitude of the burden of this adoption becomes apparent to Katherine. Calling golem/Jaguar Girl/Sphinx/Bia would indeed be a good move right now, but can Kath do it fast enough (and one react and arrive quickly enough) to stop two fast moving paranormals? Probably not before they are already into each other. Castella is bound to get some pruning and Atsali will probably get a few deep thorn cuts before anyone poits in. One assumes both have paranormal healing powers so no lasting damage. Still, Kath may try to interfere, resulting in bad injuries which may stop the fight quickly and lead to a pack to never do it again. Surely there is already a plan in place for this eventuality.

The Queen was rather severely bitten a few years ago when she tried to break up a fight among her corgis.
