Welcome to the Real World, kid.
==========
BTW - the above thread title is copied directly from the comic page.
==============
That's just cruel, describing the gooey doughnut in lascivious detail like that to a kid who's just been handed carrot sticks.

And how did you get this title? Was it on Paul's Facebook page? I was only able to reach it by manually typing in the title into the URL (once I saw your post)... the previous page's forward arrows did not work, yet...

And they still don't, even if I reach yesterday's page via today's back arrow...

I just clicked the link on my Opera Speed Dial page and there it was...

Having said that, I find that the expressions on Castela's face are just adorable! From the miffed look in the first panel, to the "whu(t)..." in the second, to the aggravation in the third. It's just so convincing. Love it!

Amazing how Childspeak can take a complex idea-laden conceptual declaration like
Hey, it really isn't terribly fair that adults are being offered, and actively encouraged to consume tasty sugar-laden treats, while I am being forced to have healthy snacks which everyone knows will be bad for my disposition. I request a renegotiation of the basic social axioms of this particular beach party!
and encode it in a simple three-letter word with one punctuation mark:
MOM!
and the message comes through so very clearly, to all who have ears to hear it.

I usually bookmark the last page viewed, rather than the root domain (so, in this case, my bookmark led me to "
http://wapsisquare.com/comic/aunt-tina/", rather than "
http://wapsisquare.com/"), and this is what I saw:
And when I did go to the latest page, by typing in the URL manually, and use that page's back arrow, which is visible here:
I still got yesterday's page without the forward arrow.
But it seems to have been fixed, now.

I do this, so that should I be unable to check on the comic every day, I will still not lose my spot, so to speak, but go back to wherever I left off, whenever it is that I can go back to reading...

Does anyone else get a Charlie Brown vibe from the last panel.
Poor Castella.

You mean, as their eyes rattle out of their heads due to the volume and bounce across the sand?

Tina Tina Tina... when will you learn that not everyone needs to hear what you think you know about them?
That being said, Tina didn't know 'Mom' was enroute... Kath will have a humorous giggle out of this, Tina (once her ears stop ringing) will have learned a very important lesson... never try to kid.

Are we sure that Castela isn't part animal/part plant and part foghorn?

Yup, Castela is a perfect example of how kids her age only have two volume levels, low and high.

well thats the problem! 'todays page(that was)' is still being edited to make it 'yesterdays page' so confusion continues... why not just put a bookmark called 'today' for 'home page', and another called 'last page' ??
