On the other hand, we now have Phix and Bia, on the same patch of sand, outside of the Library's protective environment. It will be interesting to see whether a confrontation develops, or whether the two studiously ignore one another, or whether they get down to real talking of a productive sort.

Tanta Phix is gonna get the chance to (help) raise a child after all. This may be a way to work use the maternal instinct time she lost when she had to give her son away. It certainly seems that the adoption of the girls is going to be cathartic for most (if not all of) the ladies.

Castella is just the Cutest...and the speech pattern is just right for her age.'Tanta' Phix looks so content and relaxed holding her too.

Whichever happens, I doubt it'll get to the point of violence. I can't see Phix pummeling(or possibly fileting) a little girl, titan or no, and I really can't see her doing it in front of Castela.

On the other hand, I can see her giving Bia one hell of a verbal beatdown, as soon as the kids are out of earshot.

Personally, I would love to see Phix totally lose it and fall down laughing at Bia's situation.

It sure is! She sounds just like my 6 year-old. I have had some of her story intros go into the fifth recursion.

Cuteness level increasing exponentially. According to diagnostic tests everyone is going into hypercutecemia. Decute-slin needs to be administered ASAP before we go into mental overload. Panel 3 by itself is enough to do it but all three are too much. Somebody call for Oscar the grouch there has to be a trash can on this beach somewhere.

My son talks like that a lot, even at nine. When he's enamoured of someone(or just plain in awe of them), he draws out what he means to say.

Liked Phix's comment about the editor. I love these kid's but it takes every ounce of tolerance and patience to not interrupt and finish their sentence.

Am I the only one freaking out about the time-travel thread?

The more I see of Castela, it kinda makes me wish I had married and raised a family!
