What he's saying is he's uncertain.

Thank you for translating. The number of negatives in that one sentence was hurting my brain.jwhouk wrote:What he's saying is he's uncertain.

Re: One of my favorite things about Texas...
What I liked about Texas(other than the lovely Texans), was El Fenix and FreeBirds. I loved the ambiance, attitude, quality of food and service of El Fenix.
FreeBirds...what else can I say but Monster Burrito, Cayenne tortilla, usual fillings, and Death Sauce! I LOVE tasty hot sauce.
Whattaburger was meh. It's about as good as Steak and Shake for insta-meal joints. I'm picky about my burgers though, so I like Miner-Dunn or Jim Dandy's(not franchised burger joints, and both usually have the classic cars out in good weather).

Yanno how some people have Angels/Devils for a conscience? I have a Dark Elf ShadowKnight and a Half Elf Ranger for mine. The really bad part is when they agree on something.

Re: One of my favorite things about Texas...
El Fenix = nostalgic happiness (it was one of two Mexican food joints my parents would take me to as a kid)...but though the food is good, it's fairly basic Tex-Mex. If you just want a predictibly tasty "normal" Tex-Mex meal, that's the place to go. If you want to be impressed and potentially surprised (in a good way of course), you go somewhere else.DinkyInky wrote:What I liked about Texas(other than the lovely Texans), was El Fenix and FreeBirds. I can totally respect your opinion on Whatburger. It's actually my #2 favorite fast food burger. It was #1 for a long time (and I still prefer their breakfast to most other fast food options), but my favorite fast food burger right now is from Burger Street. Apparently it's a chain that started in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area (which I didn't realize until I went looking for their website) and has only expanded from there into Tulsa, OK so far. They aren't the fastest of fast foods, but by god their burgers are tasty!

I was thinking of the guy who had a problem with typos, and ordered (and received) a "World Processor"MerchManDan wrote:Chocolate milk rain, anyone?Dave wrote:Oh, but if she got them out because you wanted a warm spell, something much worse would probably happen. Once he realized what he had, he tried to share it with everyone: He typed in that "There was world pease."
Outside, the porridge rains began . . .

Being from California, and hardly traveling since adulthood, I have no understanding of 'what-the-frack-is-that-Burger' of what you speak; ha-ever...
- While traveling across the bottom half of the country on the way to Louisville for Thanksgiving we had some type of semi-sourdough puff pastry type dinner rolls in either Arizona or New Mexico. Ah!, Albuquerque. Dems de bomb. (Over forty years later, still tasty in my memory...)
- More on topic, re: Texas, it's the Only state I ever made a snowman in. (Granted, it was the panhandle, but still...)

Had a number four that sat like a greasy lead balloon...but I'm cured of the desire for one for the next I dunno...year maybe?
I want some kalbi and oikimchi, with a side of chajang. I'm told there's a place I might be able to get it too...

I'm more of an In-n-out guy, but that's because I have never tried Whataburger.

I've heard so many rave reviews for In-and-Out that I'm worried about disappointment for no other reason...

Re: One of my favorite things about Texas...
In 'n Out has its moments... but I think they over-salt their burgers.
Recently, a "Five Guys and Fries" has opened up in our area (sadly replacing the Mountain View Country Gourmet, which made the best hot turkey sandwich I've ever had). I definitely prefer the Five Guys burger to In 'n Out, and their spicy fries are quite a treat. Caution - don't go there if you have a peanut allergy!

It's alright as long as Bible clues don't offend you. Like I said before (last year ) the fries struck me as a little strange. They didn't taste bad, but struck me as having a weird texture.

That's how I feel about Illinois.
