That they've been 'seeing' each other on the side?

Atomic confirmed for being 1/2 Fae. ;) Just a joke, of course, no offense meant.

That would explain a few things, actually!

Was that taken at a Wal-Mart? My guess is they do that to keep from clashing with the decor without thinking the people would readily realize the ridiculous result.

All the ones i've ever seen in WalMart before are the standard red. (Yeah, it's WalMart)

So a while ago, down in Alabama, Kate's mother found a teeny, skin-and-bones scrap of a kitten in her bushes.

She took him in, and nursed him back to health, and she really fell in love with him.

Unfortunately, she's 84 and not in very good health herself (though she's still living alone and needing not a lot of help).  And kittens have pointy things attached, which they're liable to deploy, as often as not accidentally, and she just couldn't deal with him.

(Also there was a mockingbird that had staked out her back yard as his territory, and he particularly didn't want cats in it - especially cats that probably didn't weigh much more than he did.  So the kitten would only go out to play in the back yard if there was a human watching over him...)

So we went down for her birthday (2 July), and, when we came home Thursday, Chip (named for the black mark on his nose) came home with us.

He's a tiny little rascal, quite friendly.  He and Rocket are off to a somewhat uncertain start...  There has been a bit of hissing and witch-cat posing.

(Personally, i'd have named him "Charlie".)

Maybe it's just a delayed rollout then. All the Wally World machines around here have been blue for a while now. They're still red at every other location.

You would be freaked out too if you realized half of you looked like Hitler.

Or, like Professor Fate, after his hapless henchman Max accidentally broke off half of Fate's frozen moustache during the Arctic leg of The Great Race.

He really does look like a dear one... hope that he and Rocket can come to a workable coexistence arrangement. :)

I assume the $24,000 includes the customized padded carrying case?

My dark side whispers a warning... if those plastic dart-shooters were replaced by poison darts or a .22 zipgun arrangement, this thing could be the ultimate "nerd assasinates nerd" weapon. :(

Perhaps it's camouflage for a raid on a Skittle factory.

Remember - that little inset shot is at the beach.

And the first time Suzi and Lily appeared in-story, it was daytime. Apparently wapsiverse vampires have no problem with the sun.
