Re: Fan Art
Ugh. Not your image, but your hosting site.
I browsed there on my iPad. A few seconds after I get there, the iPad launched the iTunes app and suggested that I install a VPN application I don't need.
Killed it, went back to your page, refreshed. A few seconds later by browser jumped to a different page, advertising a game download.
I think tinypic has raised "intrusive pop-up advertising scripts" to heights not seen since the days of X10.com.

Aw, I (unreasonably I'll admit) set myself up for disappointment because it wasn't the 'spicy' I thought it was going to be...Jabberwonky wrote:A week late and a dollar short, but here it is...

Re: Fan Art
Dave, I followed the tinypic URL with no problems, but I'm also running Firefox with the Adblock Plus plugin.
Re: Fan Art
Adblock Plus is wonderful, and I use it (and NoScript) for all of my Firefox browsing on laptops and desktops.AmriloJim wrote:Dave, I followed the tinypic URL with no problems, but I'm also running Firefox with the Adblock Plus plugin.
Not available for the Safari browser on an old iPad, alas
Re: Fan Art
Great Hair! Well done!
Also - Firefox with NoScript and AdBlock -- no problems.
YMMV

I'd have put a NSFW warning if it was of the spicy varitey. I know a lot of folks browse from work...TazManiac wrote:Aw, I (unreasonably I'll admit) set myself up for disappointment because it wasn't the 'spicy' I thought it was going to be...Jabberwonky wrote:A week late and a dollar short, but here it is...

Hah!! I can definitely picture Rosie The Riveter approving of Atsali beating the crap out of an attacking skeleton.
EDIT!! Sorry, sorry: "A skeleton that may or may not be attacking and may or may not actually be a skeleton."

A situation that's flush with opportunities for humor! Nicely done!
I am disappoint.
And yet, the file name misses the obvious chamber-pot pun.Dave wrote: A situation that's flush with opportunities for humor! Nicely done!

Re: Fan Art
Ladies and gentlemen, my fellow Wapsonians, and others enjoying this forum, hello!
I am very much one who fully intends to keep promises made, even when expanded upon. Sadly, life does have plans of it's own, and such has been the case. Simply put, since last spring, I've enjoyed five trips to the hospital, two operations, several months of physical therapy on my drawing arm, AND -- passed a kidney stone.
Bleah.
However, it's time to get back on that horse and start riding again! Just prior to visiting Katsucon to see our beloved PW (and almost missed him due to his case of the crud) I had an idea about Monica and all she's endured. Surely she has a right to sing the blues! And so...
Lots of cleanup to do, but, well -- WIP and all that. And more to come. You betcha!

I like the theme, and the effort 'tomic. I wonder if the proportions are right through, (not being negative btw).
Once, a day or two ago, I came across a prev strip that was very germane to this but I was not in a position to post or log-in at the time.
I'll see if I can resurrect it and follow up.

Re: Fan Art
Not at all! Yes, things are a bit off. I was aiming at layout and posture, rather than staying on model. The Wapsi toons are pretty much 4 and a half heads high, and I tend to draw about 5 1/2. So -- shorten torso, extend legs, etc. Work to come.TazManiac wrote:I like the theme, and the effort 'tomic. I wonder if the proportions are right through, (not being negative btw).
