Will the phone survive??

I suspect that with the way Castela was holding the phone and the smoosh that the video has been sent somewhere.

Sali should have been shouting I'm gonna squash you you little weed. lol.

I bet MIB does have IT guys who could recover and erase copies of the video if asked nicely. We have yet to meet any super hackers in the paranormal world. There have to be some. This would be a good chance to add them to the story.

I do have to add this is mostly Sali's fault from when she started getting angry and chasing Castela. If she had calmly asked for the phone to be returned she could easily erased the video and avoided the problem. But kids don't think at that age.

I have the feeling that the internet was set up by para-normals in the first place and has lots of backdoor methods to remove anything that will prove the para-normals exist to the world at large. They have two ways to help a bad situation. Either remove it from the web (difficult at best) or alter the files so it is too messed up to be believed (part of that would just be good PR hackers pulling an 'Area 51' on the clips.)

I stand by my prediction of the 6th.

The next thing we see on the phone is a slowly
extending progress bar.

(She's been recording for 6 minutes? )

"All Night Long" is a pretty long song in the album mix.

EDIT: Sorry, that should be You Shook Me (All Night Long)

Given that Atsali didn't display any naughty (i.e. paranormal, they don't care much about the other type) bits, MIB probably won't do anything special to erase the video.

More likely, even if the video did get uploaded, we are going to see Castela getting the cold shoulder from Atsali and a lecture from Kathryn about respecting the privacy, and property, of others. I'm not sure how much of a threat grounding would be for a plant person.

Wonder which member of Castela's class 'Daylla' is http://wapsisquare.com/comic/mom-said/

I don't suspect Castela was planning to share this video online, but must concur: This is almost guaranteed to happen anyway, somehow. Maybe not, though; Paul could still surprise us.

What is it that guarantees this "must" occur? Is there a name for this application of an unerring version of Murphy's law to fictional situations?

... I'm inviting a TV trope link, aren't I?

I've been putting off checking TVTropes for such a thing, but I'm sure it's there. ;)

Little kid logic can be so painful! x.x

Astali picks the darnedest times to forget she can fly!

Unless she's holding back so as not to knock stuff over with her wings...

Maybe it's just me, but the video app that comes with Android records to the phone's internal memory and doesn't directly stream the video to the internet.

So the rumours of that video getting posted somewhere are probably a tad exaggerated...

I haven't actually looked into it, but i'd bet there are apps on Google Play that do.

Whether Atsali would have one is another matter.

I haven't even bothered with video, but at least for photos, all of the cloud store services offer automatic upload. If Atsali has Dropbox, Ubuntu1, Google Drive, or whatever, that video may well be automatically uploaded.

Automatic sharing of said uploads are not on by default though. But I'm certain that even if there's no option for it, there's an app for it. 8-)

I suspect a Galaxy phone is the only one with a screen big enough to capture Atsali's...blessings.
