Me thinks Paul is taking Thanksgiving off. Fair enough but a bit of warning please. There may be whiplash claims from all the strained necks as the readers do a double take. Instead of Kell how about a new adult form Sali pin up?

Hopefully Paul and his family are okay. I always worry when the story is in full swing and then a poster pops up instead of the expected page. Happy Thanksgiving to all who are celebrating the holiday this week. I believe that our Canadian neighbors celebrate during a different time of the year.

I haven't seen my nieces since my mother's funeral, last year, but (within limits of real-world human physiology) they're like that - the immediate impression as they and their kid brother go charging by one in an SF convention hallway is that they're at least 60% leg.

Correct; Canadian Thanksgiving was just over six weeks ago. But at times like this, I kind of wish I had American relatives I could visit.

Anyhow, I've been meaning to check out Kevin & Kell, but the 18 years worth of archives is somewhat intimidating. Still, this pinup is a pretty good incentive; for some reason, it reminds me a lot of a Sunday installment of The Hots by Nina Paley and Stephen Hersh.

I don't get why people find large archives intimidating. To me it just means there is more to binge on before reaching the current installment and having to wait.

Maybe "intimidating" isn't quite the word I was looking for. Umm...it's like, if I start reading it and enjoy it, then I won't want to stop. But eventually I'll have to, if only to work, sleep, eat, what-have-you. Some kind of schedule would need to be worked out, etc.

18 years of archives can be variably intimidating depending on the comic's update schedule. 10 years of Drowtales has produced 44 chapters worth of content, and keeping track of it all is starting to feel a bit like reading a Tolstoy novel.

It is good to take a few days off! And I suspect the talk between Monica and Atsali will take a while to depict.

When I first saw the pin-up I thought it was by Mike Kazaleh based on the body and feet. But no, he draws faces different. This is very good, though.
