I haven't had much to say recently, so I thought I'd put up a few random pictures.

Considering how much rum they were reported to have consumed, it's not surprising to learn that pirates were lit up much of the time.

YOu have my sons approval(my wee Pirate Lord is currently having a mission all on his onesies playing AB SWII with a Telepod, so this is rather amusingly appropriate).
Yanno how some people have Angels/Devils for a conscience? I have a Dark Elf ShadowKnight and a Half Elf Ranger for mine. The really bad part is when they agree on something.

and, AB SWII :?:
Angry Birds Star Wars II Bird Rebellion vs. The Pork Side(not joking at all).

The lead up to the game was impressive, as well as amusing. The game itself is a challenge, and the creative abilities they attribute to the birds and pigs in character is impressive.
I'm ordinarily a hard sell with video games, preferring old school RPG like Castlevania or Final Fantasy styled games, or an action adventure like Tomb Raider, or fighter like Soul Caliber(OMG the months wasted in the arcades). I find myself clicking buy when I see Rovio putting out a new game before even thinking about it. I have a Kindle Fire HD, and have a lot of games on it. The ones that don't get auto deleted after being the FAotD(Free App of the Day) are many, as my son and I generally finish most of them in a day. Angry Birds, Bad Piggies, and Amazing Alex stay put, as do the Cut the Rope games. I have three world builder games he likes(DragonVale, Ice Age Village, and Smurf Village) that stay because of the creative interactions(Who wouldn't want to make a park of dragons for all to visit?), and the rest get shuffled out between rounds. The new consoles do not interest me, as the games are not interesting. I'll keep playing the older games on the older consoles until they fall apart, then fondly remember them. I see no reason to spend $300+ on a new console(The Kindle was a gift, or I'd not have it either). Just my 2cp.

Not Related to the rest of them, but this one had my son and I in stitches, because we pictured a cat we know doing this to pick on someone who deserves it.

Let me recommend a game that's available for Android (and, i assume, for iThings): graBlox.

Free.

Puzzle game.

Simple.

Fiendishly simple.
