... and I find myself cheering, and laughing, and tearing up all at once.

I don't think we've ever seen Katherine happy before now. "Bloody about time!" he says... definitely worth one mil-spec Squeee! from the audience.

She was right. She really did need an adventure... it was just what she required to break that shell of isolation she'd wrapped around her soul.

So much happiness, and doesn't it look like Katherine is dressed for some kind of action? I'd REALLY hate to get between her and the kids now, even a real mama bear would think twice: "um, sure, your kids can play with my cubs, no problem! Play date?"

*sigh* Seeing them this happy makes me dread what the author may have in store for these three later on...

What an adventure team to run into Jodhpurs and a mini-skirt. I can't imagine why Kathy would be wearing those for. With the girls to take care of now I just cannot see her getting further into the action life of adventure on a daily basis. Raising kids is all the adventure she needs for now.

Perhaps a style-conscious alternative for Levis, worn when digging through piles of dusty, dirty, splintery crates of artifacts down in the basement of the Museum?

Alert!
It's official!
There is now a world-wide shortage of "D'awwww"s due to the massive drain by the Wapsi Square forumites.....
But ain't it worth it.....

PS - Jodhpurs are sexy....and anything would be better than the shapeless black shroud/dresses she used to wear to work.

Too Cute. Katherine is BUSTING out with pride (in more ways than one. Are those LEATHER pants? Very Hot). Atsali looks Very in her school uniform, I'll bet shes breaking boys hearts at school and getting a bunch of phone numbers, and Castela looks Happiest of all. Archeologists and Anthropologists are very fashion conscious.
My daughter took a archeology class in college and the professor showed up the first day in a full bush outfit, high top lug boots, knee socks, bush shorts, campaign jacket, equipment harness with "Y" straps and canteen, map case, and holster, and British style pith helmet. There are also certain archeology societies that require the wearing of pith helmets with formal wear at certain events.

It's really cute and I'm hoping this goes good places, but can Katherine's shirt be any more open?

Is she getting ready to breast feed the little one or did she just pop a button on her shirt?

Absolutely adorable though.

She used to not take care of herself and it was hard to tell how old she was. Now she's looking confident and age appropriate. It's definitely a good look for her.

Yes it could but that would be a totally different kind of pic without the kids. ;)

Kids? What kids. Oh yeah! Right, I see them now.

Apparently Kath went right from her riding lessons (English style it seems) to pick up the kids. I prefer western myself. Though she may already know how and just does it for fun. Given the locations she was in during her days on digs, horseback riding skills may have been required.

And, I believe the headmistress at Atsali's school will be wanting a word with her about the way her daughter hikes up her school uniform skirt way above regulations.

If Dr. Gilchrist has a riding crop tucked in her boot or belt out sight of the viewers we may have to revise our opinion of just how much of a "hands on" disciplinarian she may be within the MIB.

(Which could also explain how Atsali gets away with the skirt)
