EDIT: And the comic has been up over an hour now and this is the only comment. Don't tell me that none of you had the same awful premonition? C'mon, get real here, this is Pablo Wapsi we are talking about, the only characters that die in this comic have "Awful person" telegraphed so severely you wonder why they don't implode from how awful they are. Or the deaths happened off camera in the distant past. Cheer up Castela is not being played by Kenny or Lt. Deadmeat.

Actually, it the guy from the lawn service, and he says "Oops, missed one!" and sprays a certain someone. Then a rock falls and everybody else dies.

BTW Opus -- it's 22 Aug.

Not gonna lie...every time the update is a pin-up (though this one feels less like a pin-up...probably because she's running) I have a minor heart-attack.

That said, I'm really looking forward to Castela glomping Kat in her excitement to be picked up from "day care."

The look of unconditional love on Castela's face is heartbreaking... Paul really nailed it on this one. The only thing needed to complete the circle is to see the happy look on Kath's face as she stands with Castela and Atsali as a happy family.

Growing up having daycare at The Library....that's both amazing and scary and I'm jealous.^_^

Yaknow, brownies seem to be a running theme through this arc. As I recall, Brandi said she had to get back home because she was preparing brownies. Castela wanted brownies and milk, and now she eagerly anticipates making some with mom. Of course now I want brownies. Slightly under-baked brownies.
