Daft Punk Wants You to 'Get Lucky' Safely. Time article here.
Only if I get the same light show as their helmets...

From the article:
Unsurprisingly, pop singer Ke$ha took it a step further. She produced a condom emblazoned with her face, which she shot out into the audience of her concerts.
Shot into the audience?

Really? :?:

At a guess, from looking at the picture... a bunch of foil-and-film packets containing one condom each, fired out above the audience's heads using a hand-held airgun of some sort... maybe a CO2 cartridge to make the necessary blast of gas.

Blue Man Group used a CO2 cannon to fire streamers and confetti to shower down on their audience... this is just larger confetti, with a beneficial use after the show ;)

I read this as Dampf-Punk wants you to 'Get Lucky' Safely....

So I was wondering what sort of Victorian era designed helmets would help you be safe....

(Dampf-Punk is Steam Punk in German)

I can see where Steam Punk condoms would keep you safe. I mean, who would let you in wearing a contraption?

Steam powered contraception? I don't think that is what people have in mind when they mention their burning loins.

Twice the yuk-yuks, as my son and I(and his cousin), saw the sequel last week(which was in my opinion, better than the first).

I even broke my own rule, and have been taking my son to a certain fast food place with a Monkey house, in order for him to add to his growing collection of Minions for world domination(and yeah, he basically called one Pinky).

Now that's one way to keep Hostess producing Twinkies!

Yea, but the new owners changed the formula and weight of the new ones.

I wouldn't know; I haven't been able to get a hold of one here in MONW, Wisconsin.

Don't blame the new owners for that one. According to this the new, longer lasting recipe was actually developed by Hostess right before going belly up.

"Longer lasting recipe"? I thought it was gonna be cockroaches versus the mutant rats for the Twinkies after the bomb as it is....

I'm with you on this one. I thought they measured Twinkies with a half-life, not a shelf-life.

...Do we tell them?

(pauses)

Yeah, I guess so.

Twinkies have a finite shelf life.

Yeah, yeah.

Sigh. My son is having a hard time deciding(not that it impacts himin the slightest) what cake he wants for his birthday(which is in December). Toss up between the Black Pearl, a Sherlock Holmes Story, or Gru's underground lair(with Minions). No pressure for Mommy. None at all.
