Just not seat 13A, that one is mine.Julie wrote:It only took me about 10 seconds to start laughing (which isn't bad considering the kind ofshadowinthelight wrote:Securing my place in hell with this one.
EDITED: Exploding CigarI felt at reading today's strip). So I think my booking of an entire bullet train to hell hasn't been compromised at this time. You want a seat in the party car? I've got room to spare.
I, on the other hand, won't need a seat. I'm pretty sure I'll be driving it.Mark N wrote:Just not seat 13A, that one is mine.Julie wrote:It only took me about 10 seconds to start laughing (which isn't bad considering the kind ofshadowinthelight wrote:Securing my place in hell with this one.

Clever! I rather like the Europeanization of Paul's name.Jabberwonky wrote:The story of one of her earlier visits to The Library...

On the railroad to Hell!
Problem is, it all looks great, but tastes like fresh raw sewage with extra sleaze. And you're made to feel like you haven't eaten in a month. This is the train to hell after all.DinkyInky wrote:All aboard! Hahahahahaaaaaaaa!

So glad you're joining my group of jokers here. We arrived after coming up with some puntastic filks of Poker Face, Gangnam Style, Move like Jagger, and many more!
Soon the trolley will come by serving up baked Lemon Pepper Steelhead with a splash of Blackberry brandy and Jasmine tea infused rice, London Broil with a nice rub after being marinated in a shot of Jameson with a baked sweet potato, or a Steamed Vegetable Medley with a Grand Marinier vinaigrette with Amaranth bread and sweet cream butter.
Dessert is a Cinnamon coffee cake and an apple puckered glaze, or Peanut Butter double chocolate brownies. Plain or ala mode, with fresh coffee. Todays gourmet blend is Highland Grogg with fresh sweetened heavy cream.
Enjoy the ride! Hahahahahahaaaaaaa!

That is much better than anything that comes from my imagination, good enough to warrant technical critiquing (if that makes any sense). In her wing the length of the humerus seems way too short in comparison to the radius/ulna. The rest is actually proportioned very well.Boxilar wrote:Shellnix.jpg

I welcome the critique. i understand what you mean. I was struggling with how the wing should look. Sphinxes have Eagle wings, and I inked her wings in before i went hunting refrences online. Her main pinions should be shorter relitive to over all wing size. I could claim the disproportionate humerus is a stylistic choice, but it would be a cop out. I chose to draw a relativly realistic Shelly, and kind of half assed the wings. they should be shorter overall and deeper front to back. The ulna/radius and humerus should both be about the length of her body. What I should have done, If I wanted the wings that far above her head, was to have them partially spread in a mild threat display, since she seems to be concentrating on something slightly above her. It's kind of fun to play with the body language of of something that is athropoid, feline and avian.shadowinthelight wrote:That is much better than anything that comes from my imagination, good enough to warrant technical critiquing (if that makes any sense).
