Think FOURTH dimensionally.

On the same page, someone mentioned that she was seeing through the fourth wall, and those people were actually us, looking at the comic...
I'm going to have to look through the comments again, to find it...

well it sound like lake_wrangler has it correct, but seeing that Time is the fourth dimension, I do have an idea that with the Calendar Machine resetting time that each resets creates a new 'reality' but leaves the other (older ones) in existence.
As the resets would be going back to an exact moment in time, each reality would exist in the same space/location, but each in their on dimension.
My guess Jin can see people because her link to the Calendar Machine gives her an occasional glimpse into other dimensions and could see people from past (and maybe future?) timelines.
cue the Sliders and/or Star Trek type Waspi Square fanfictions
sorry, not for the quiz forum ... I'm a bad person

And if by fourth dimensionally, you mean time, then I suppose (and I think someone mentioned it on that page) that she could be seeing people who used to be in that room, seeing as she is out of phase with current time.

I guess it’s the ghosts of all those cycles where the world went “kablooi”again.
And in a comment thread that asked why ghosts would be clothed:

The suit and tie ghost might be from any when from late 19th to early 21st century.
Maybe someone in the 1920s pissed her off.
And if you're looking for something more specific, you will have to rephrase your question, the next time you get to ask one, as the wording you used,
jwhouk wrote:What was one of the reader-suggested reasons why Jin could actually "see people" around her when she was hallucinating?
is vague enough that supplying
any of the theories found on that page would qualify as a valid answer, and I have supplied
several of those
reader-suggested theories.
I will now calmly wait for you to admit defeat...

As promised: we have already found three items that are said would put hair on your chest, but there was a fourth one, which was not discovered when I last asked (since I had miscounted, thinking of three when there were four.
What is this fourth item that is said would put hair on your chest?

Okay, got it: The
mid-winter ale of soon-to-be-Georgette's.
(For whatever reason, that instance had not stuck with me. Unlike the other two. The archive text helped with this one though. Unlike the other two ...)
ETA: Okay, nothing prepared, let's check random page ... whoah!
Q: When was Hercules referenced in the comic?

When Monica just finished telling Katherine how she had been shot at while getting the other portal cloth. The topic moved to how she thinks "they're all mice being lead through a maze and any obstacle they come across are meant for them to overcome." To which Katherine replied, excitedly, that it was like the classic labors of Heracles, or the incredible journey of Odysseus! Or better yet... (Monica didn't seem to care much about the excitement...
Now that I found it in the eBook, I will find the link.
Edit: well, that link was really easy to find: being a little before the calendar was fixed, I went straight to 2009 in the archives. The comic before the one we want mentions fish sauce, and I knew, from memory, that that was also the title of that previous day's comic. CTRL-F, type in "fish", and get the comic immediately following...
And
here it is.

Hey, I said Hercules, not Heracles!
... anyway, the "kitten" is
definitely M. (Or
is it?)
Now, can you find Hercules referenced?

The
opening band for Fermented Banana at the Plow. (Heather's band.)
Now can you find
Hercules referenced?

I think it's fair to say that he already did. "Heracles" is the Greek spelling, "Hercules" is the Roman spelling for the same mythological character. The Romans simply adopted his cult and then started making up newer stories about him.
Now, if you had asked
Where is the name "Hercules" spoken? it would be a different matter entirely... :)

Now do you really think I'd read a strip with "Heracles" and ask for a strip referencing Hercules?
... 'cause I think
that would be unfair.
Besides, I've answered both of your questions, so it's my turn anyway. Fair?

Yes! With the exact strip I had bookmarked for it, too, though I think she called her that twice, but I haven't run across the second instance, lately...

That.
But if you're saying that the actual Roman spelling "Hercules" is mentioned somewhere, then fair enough, I'll keep looking... This wouldn't be the first time where an acceptable answer was not the actual answer we were looking for...

Nah. I just think his answer to your question
as phrased was valid and should be accepted, even if it wasn't the one you had in mind. We've had other examples of that, I think.
Besides, I've answered both of your questions, so it's my turn anyway. Fair?

Posilutely... you're up! Next question, sir?
