Indeed. Even though nothing was detected by a full sweep of my MS Security Essentials AND the free trial of AVG I just installed. Also, AVGs firewall didn't pick up anything suspicious when I went to the site again, so I'm confounded.
Sheesh, all this hullabaloo just because I wanted to share a goofy visual pun. Well, that's life.

huh, I gave up AVG ages ago, avast is much better, and removes that weak stuff silently...
do note it IS free(choose your options carefully on the website, and look out for tickboxes, if you dont want extras... ), to home users, you just have to register every 6 months or so...

Firefox plus the free NoScript extension is another effective option. The biggest disadvantage of NoScript (if you see it as such) is that it's very strict... by default it blocks all Javascript and etc. on all sites not on its whitlist, and you have to enable scripting on a per-domain basis.

Odd, I thought the joke referred to A.G. Bell's accident when he discovered his experimental telephone worked?
Yeah, it was. I forget if I heard it on a Laugh-In rerun, or Hollywood Squares.
Thanks! Everyone else took off on a Sherlock riff, I'm sittin' here goin' "uh, what's that got to do with Sherlock other than assistants with the same name?"
