So, i saw this piece on Yahoo about Halloween costumes for dogs.

And halfway way down the page:

Do we suspect someone we know might have seen this picture before doing certain comic pages?

The pose and expression are perfect.

I was gonna upload just a shot i ran across of this plate, but a quick google revealed that it was already all over the net. But that google also gave me this:

This one really needs the custom license plate frame shown to be fully effective:

{Is there something in the water in Virginia?)

[snrrrk]

Reminds me of a personalized license plate a young woman had (or at least, alleged to have): 3M TA3

Hint: Write it onto a piece of paper & hold it up to a mirror.

It was a white (Volkswagen) Rabbit, of course.

Okay, so i come across a slideshow that's called "10 Bizarre Japanese Products You Didn't Know You Wanted".

Read the article, looked at pictures.

I still don't want them. (Though if i could find some wind-up sushi again...)

One is this:

Only in a country that puts used-pantie-vending machines in train stations could you sell squishable boobies for iPhones on the mass market...

===============================

Though the Mountain Dew-flavoured Cheetos sound ... interesting ...

I'm not surprised by the oppai phone case (of course the character is Super Sonico  ) nor the soda-flavoured snack food (reaction 1: "BLEGH!!", reaction 2: "...hm, I wonder what other flavours they have"), but that futon drier certainly intrigues me. Not that my futon is regularly slept on, but better safe than sorry.

Those wooden bricks-that-look-like-LEGO-but-are-not-LEGO are definitely appealing, but I can't buy them because of "potential patent conflict."

Whatever lawyer they got advising them is an idiot. There are plenty of Lego compatible bricks on the market without any problem. Lego's patent expired in the 80s so as long as they don't mention them by name they would be fine.

OYO sports is "LEGO compatible" - and with the MLB/NFL/NHL/NBA/NCAA's official licensing, their sportfigs are "authentic".

True enough. LEGO (the company) has an unsavoury reputation for being litigious - as mentioned in shadow's article - so I guess White Rabbit Japan and/or New Tech Shinsei would rather be safe than sorry. But then again, they CAN sell & ship to "28 EU member countries, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Turkey, Switzerland, and Japan," all of which are also LEGO consumers (so far as I know), so....I dunno. :| It's weird.

Around here, it's about $1.25....

...

PER LITER!
(3.785411784 liters per gallon, which works out to $4.73 CND per gallon.)

And that's the lowest I've seen it in a while... Usually, it hovers around $1.35-$1.45 per liter ($5.11 - $5.48 CND per gallon)

I filled up at 2.79/gal here in the Valley today. It was 3.19/gal when I left Wisconsin. :(

interesting ... where I am in Australia, the price for unleaded petrol is about $1.50/Litre ($AUD).
(at current exchange rates, in USD that's about $1.32/Litre and in CND $1.48/Litre)

Fuel is about 10c cheaper in our capital city, but that is about 1,357 kilometer drive (each way), so going there to get cheaper fuel is not an option :P .
