Yeah. That wouldn't fit with her conversation with her mother ... unless she's cracked and gone completely Fatal Attraction and is plotting revenge on both of them...

Why didn't she admit to anybody (including herself) that she was as interested in Timothy as she is? Now things are more out in the open, and there's a bit less room for denial and self-delusion. I can state with absolute assurance that you can smell sexual attraction and still have zero idea of who's attracted to whom.
