Am I the only one completely in love with that last panel of Atsali? And it has nothing to do with the toplessness, it's that utterly fierce expression on her face, it's just perfect. We're getting so many amazing facial expressions from Atsali this story. Each one better then the last if you ask me.

BTW, can anyone spot the felony going on in this strip, and the three people who would be ironically tried as adults for it, were it somehow reported to the relevant authorities?

Depends on the wording of the state law, I think. As far as we know, Atsali may not have been "exposed" on camera (depends how she was standing when her top ripped, and how fast she got her arms in place to protect her modesty... remember, she was facing away from the computer/camera when tussling with Castela). She was not portraying any actual or simulated sexual behavior. There's nothing in her words or actions which suggests she was intending to arouse any sort of sexual interest in anyone. The brief appearance of her wings was, as she said, just a sign of nervousness. So, i'm far from sure that any law was violated.

Granted, in today's witch-hunt-prone environment, this sort of thing could be blown up out of context and all out of proportion... but I'd hope that any cooler head would look at the overall situation and say "No, this wasn't sexting, just a sheer accident that caught everybody by surprise."

Except for Castela - she knew there were cookies to be had!

It could be worse ... At least in Waspi characters (and story lines) fade to the background [but continue] while new ones are brought to the front. Heavens know what George RR Martin would have done to Monica and Co. by now
