The first goal is to get the candidates down to a reasonable number, then deal with a voting change. The one I suggested was one up/one down vote, but the 1 up-2 down could work. We've got some time before we get to that point, though.

I was just talking to my parents about a certain American politician with presidential ambitions who was born in Canada. Eligibility laws are weird and much more complicated than most realize. He's not a demon, though, unless you count all politicians as evil.

I notice Lucy wasn't included - but then, I don't think she's ever been invited to the island, and she's not tyled to the lodge - nor is Jacquie.....

And, given her history for inducing mayhem, having her as the ruler of the Island Cafe is clearly a sub-optimal strategy for all involved. We're already short one sand-bar, one island, a mine, a cliff dwelling, and an underground cyberlibrary. The Wapsi community really shouldn't be deprived of a second island so quickly.

Now, having her act as the ruler's secret enforcer-agent e.g. sending her out as an exchange student and then watching the results from a safe distance... now that could be an interesting strategy.

I still see the Sage of the Forest as the best leadership in the mix. But who's the worst is really debatable...
