The biggest problem is that the US is, well, kinda big.

I'm rather curious to see how (or if) this problem is finally surmounted. A lack of convenient charging stations will make people reluctant to buy electric cars, but a lack of electric cars on the roads will make people reluctant to invest in building electronic charging stations. It's somewhat analogous to the change from horses to petrol-fueled automobiles, but without the radical change in properties and abilities making the newer type a popular option. It's just one type of car to another.
I see this as an opportunity for kids to kick the lemonade for profit habit to standing on the side of the road with and extension cord...
;)

It was like this:

I can understand swamped, but seriously? FreeBirds was twice as swamped, and they got it right the first time, even to the point of asking if we wanted it mixed up before it got wrapped. Even better was one of the crew remembered us from visiting years ago.
I actually haven't' had a Chipotle's experience yet, but my first time at a Freebird's was most excellent. That aside, any moron should know to layer a burrito lengthwise, not 'vertical' compartments...
:?

The blurry image should be a real selling point.

Being in Central Florida has only given me the Chipotle's experience and I have never seen them layer it in any way other than bottom to top so it is even in the wrap. I can't imagine how you could do it any other way.

Paul's eBay store has two views of everyone's favourite birdbrain - looks like her fashion sense doesn't change much in twelve years...

Exactly. It was like being an archaeologist, uncovering the different layers...OMG the large amounts of fail in my meal that day. I am hoping to have another FreeBirds Day so we can purge it from our trip data.

On the subject of FreeBird's, my son gave a young gal there a laugh and half. As anyone that has visited there knows, they make very loaded burritos that are cleanly wrapped, and encourage you to make foil creations. My son made "thorny flowers" and took my foil and made two "phasers".

He asked the girl if she "got it", and after quite a bit of laughing, she put his creations in a place of honour on one of the FreeBirds window boxes.

If you did not get it, the creations were "Phasers"(Guns) and "thorny flowers"(Roses). He then threw 'em up(which in College Station is a bit more amusing than pretty much anywhere else).
(For those unfamiliar, Texas A&M (Aggies) have a 'friendly' rivalry with University of Texas(UT), who has a mascot that's a Longhorn steer. While for metal fans throwing up 'devil horns' will raise a few eyebrows, for Aggies, it's a bit different meaning.).

Yup. College Station. Originators of the Freebirds restaurants. Sort of the Texas hipsters reply to Starbucks.

Good food, but I've NEVER been fond of the attitude. I'd rather go to Amy's Ice Cream.

Atsali (warning: spoilers in the comments)

Castela (age 17 warning: as above [but not much of a surprise])

Even if it were at a higher resolution, that cover doesn't match any of the books in Paul's Lulu store. Is this a lost collection of Wapsi Square comics? Exciting!

Pablo did publish a collection of strips prior to the one on Lulu. It was heavily abridged, if I recall - but then again, I've never seen it physically.

It occurs to me that the rapist who goes after Castela is one I could feel some small amount of sympathy for.

(But only a very small amount, and only because the immediate consequences would be so unexpected. I'd have no objection to the same immediate consequences being normal.)

I think if anyone even tries to do that to Castela, he or she (have to be fair now), would find themselves on the wrong end of a Japanese tentacle rape nightmare. --> :? --> -->

Haha... I think Atsali's skirt gives her a Daphne vibe (from Scooby Doo, of course)...

And Castela... Woah! But why rebelious? Catherine makes for such a nice mom...

She does have nice feet, though. :)
