Thank you ever so much for the mental image of a creeping horde of flatulent mimes.

I will certainly sleep well tonight with that running around in my head.

It's called "karma" and it's pronounced "ha ha ha"

Silent... But deadly.
That idea has its advantages and its disadvantages.

On the negative side, you'd have to keep a constant watch over each of your mimes to make certain that they're doing what they're supposed to do. Mimes have a well-known habit of getting distracted and drifting away and disappearing. Hence the saying, "out of sight, out of mimes".

On the plus side, all of your opponents would be very reluctant to fight back against your mime army, seeing as how a mime is a terrible thing to waste.

To say things like that, without making a sacrifice to the Pun Jar... ... you are treading on dangerous ground there, my friend. Definitely walking across a mimefield.

And, yes, I do realize full well that for me to make such a statement, is an exercise in hypocracy fully equal to anything seen during any of the recent Presidential and Vice Presidential debates.

Wound up getting sprayed in the face with degreaser as I was refilling a bottle a few hours ago. My mouth was partially open, so... Yeah, I found out what that stuff tastes like.

My lips are still burning from it.

The moral of the story is: NEVER forget that you know that damn degreaser foams up and will spray all over the place, so pump in SMALL amounts at a time once you have it half full.

Put those mimes ashore! Land, mimes!

(Puts a stapled stack of paper in the pun jar. Centered on the front page, vertically and horizontally, is the word "SCRIPT". The rest of the pages are blank.)

Soldier - Captain! Captain!

Captain - What's wrong?

Soldier - All the men are getting trapped in invisible glass boxes!

Captain - It's a mime attack! Call HQ - send in the clowns!

How about another quote:
“To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children...to leave the world a better place...to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson
Of course, I'd personally add a spiritual component, to that, but as it is, it's already a nice sentiment.

Some days, my wallpaper can spew quotes all day, which do nothing for me. Other days, it just keeps churning out interesting ones... Here is one such:
“Be careful because God's gifts alone are not able to give you joy; God's gift can only bring you joy when they are joined with your gratitude.” - Patience Johnson
